The Government of Andhra Pradesh has formed seven different Missions to achieve double-digit growth for the state. One of the seven missions is the Knowledge and Skills Mission, which provides a trained and skilled workforce for all other Missions. To achieve this, the state government has established The Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (DSDEI) to coordinate and synergise the skilling efforts of all departments, with AP State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) as the executing agency for implementing all skilling and entrepreneurship programmes in the state.
